The ODBC drivers must be installed for the direct integration with Kojo and ComputerEase. Any time ComputerEase pushes an update, this driver should also be updated to ensure the most up-to-date version is being used. If a driver version is outdated, the connection between Kojo and ComputerEase may fail.

  • To install the ODBC Drivers, select open Windows Explorer. Locate the directory where you have ComputerEase installed. Locate the folder "ODBC" usually in the main ComputerEase Folder. (For Example C:\ComputerEase\ODBC\). Locate the file SETUP.EXE. Right-click on the SETUP.EXE and select "Run as Administrator"

  • Select "Install Standard ODBC Driver and add/update User DSN's".

  • Select "Add/Update User DSN's"

  • Select "Add/Update System DSN's"

  • NOTE: You may need to complete this process after each new ComputerEase update has been installed or after any new companies have been added.

Once the ODBC has been updated, you will need to restart the Kojo Sync Service.

  1. Access your server (where the Kojo Sync Client is installed)

  2. Click on the ‘Start ‘menu in the lower left

  3. Click on ‘Administrative Tools’

  4. Click on ‘Services’

  5. Find ‘Kojo synchronization service’ and right-click to either stop and then again to start

If you receive an error during the update stating "Unable to create file - Error 32 C:\Windows\system32\ceodbc32.dll".

It is recommended that you restart the server and try the ODBC update again. Rebooting the server will generally allow the ODBC install/update to complete without issue.

If you receive other errors during the install/update process please reach out to support@usekojo.com
