Identify users based on the website they arrive from and whether it’s their first time on your website. Conditions include:

  • Visitors seeing your site for the first time

    This conditions identify people that visit your website for the first time

  • Visitor arrived from a specific URL:

    This condition allow you to identify users that arrive from a certain page, for example when visiting you app via a link on google.com. As for every URL-based conditions, it includes the option equal to to check for an exact URL match or the options containing and not containing to check for a given string within the URL

Some websites mask their domain when following links, for example youtube.com and producthunt.com. To capture visitors from these sites, do not specify the domain as selection criteria, but rather identify a query parameter in the link, e.g. ref?
