The reason we chose colors like red and yellow is simply because color vision problems make colors like blue and purple harder to see later in life. Yellow letters on a black background make them brighter and easier to see for seniors. Green is used specifically for residents with Dementia who tend to be more successful when Green is used.
With this being said, if they can't see the game well, we should find ways to make it easier!
More muted colors may be more helpful. You can adjust your laptop display to have muted colors by accessing your system settings and modifying the color profile, typically by adjusting the "Color Temperature" setting towards a warmer or cooler tone, depending on the desired muted effect.
How to adjust muted colors on a laptop:
Windows:
Go to Settings > System > Display.
Select Color profile.
Choose your preferred color profile or adjust the "Color Temperature" slider to achieve a muted look.
TV
Go to Settings and find an option for "color"
