Questions to ask first:
Have you selected an action?
You need to select "Spin", "Solve", or "Buy a Vowel" before selecting a letter or solving the puzzle.
Did you land on a Special Space?
If you land on “Free”...you must click on a choice before selecting a letter
Select a Consonant
Select a Vowel
If you land on "Skip Turn" or "Lose it all" the game board will need you to select the next team in the game before it will allow you to choose an action or select another letter. It will remind you of this by pulsing the team scores at the top of the screen.
Did you Zoom in on the puzzle?
When you "Zoom in" you can't see or select the letters correctly. Press "Shift + -" to zoom out on the puzzle.

Because we are a web based game, full screen is controlled by the browser you are using!
If you're using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, you can:
Click the three dots in the top right corner
Next to the zoom option, click the framed box, or the two arrows for full screen

The Host must move to the next player manually when the current player does not guess a correct letter
This gives you the option to say, “That’s my fault...I’m going to give Green another turn to make up for it!”
WHY?
This allows you as the host to move the game in a way that makes sense for your residents. We want you to have full control over the game.

You must click on “Solve” at the right before the "Correct" and "Wrong" buttons appear on the Screen

The Host must select the next player manually to access the Spin/Solve/Buy Vowel action buttons again. The teams are usually pulsing/flashing when this happens.
This happens after a player lands on “LOSE IT ALL” or “SKIP TURN”, or if a team goes to "Solve" and they get it wrong.

We just rolled out a new update to Spintopia that should automatically fix this issue on your end. Sometimes all you need to do is log out, log back in, and click "Play Now" to reload a game. This 99% of the time resolves the issue.
If you happen to have that "invalid access token" issue again and you can't start a game, here is a video to walk you through how to fix that cookie issue. I've also included written steps below as well by browser.
Chrome Browser
Go to "Settings" In your preferred browser- In Google Chrome, click on the three dots in the far right hand corner and click the option "settings"
Click "Privacy and Security" or search in the search bar for "cookies"
Click "Cookies and other site data"
Ensure "allow all cookies" is enabled
Scroll down to where it says "Customized behaviors"
Click "Add" next to where it says "Sites that can always use cookies"
Add in "[*.]utopiaexperiences.cloud
Click the box to "Include third party cookies on this site"
Click save
Log out of Spintopia and close the tabs, then go to utopiaexperiences.cloud and try starting a game again.
Safari Browser
On your computer, open Safari.
In the top bar of your computer, click the word “Safari”.
In the dropdown menu that appears, click “Settings”
Under “Settings”, click the “Privacy” tab.
Under the “Privacy” tab, where it says “Cookies and website data:”, make sure the box that sas “Block all cookies” is UNCHECKED.

On your computer, open Edge.
In the top right, click the three dots to open the settings menu.
Click “Cookies and Site Data” in the sidebar menu. If you cannot find the section, search “cookies” in the search bar.
Ensure “Allow sites to save and read cookie data (recommended)” is CHECKED.
Ensure “Block third-party cookies” is UNCHECKED.
Under the Allow section, click “Add New”.
Add [*.]utopiaexperiences.cloud and save

This usually happens when wifi connection is bad. Please run a wifi speed test at https://www.speedtest.net/. A good internet speed is at least 25Mbps download and 3Mbps upload.
If you find that your wifi connection is good and you're still having slow spinner issues, we have a setting you can check within your browser to make sure you can access the full animations of the game.
Here is a video walking you through how to adjust the animation settings within your browser, but there are written instructions below as well.
Open Google Chrome
Click on the three dots in the top right hand corner
Select "Settings" from the drop down menu
In the search bar at the top, type "Acceleration"
Make sure the option that says "Use Graphics Acceleration when Available" is toggled on
Close UECC and reopen www.utopiaexperiences.cloud and try to load a game again.
If the issue persists, please try a different browser like Microsoft Edge or Safari- sometimes your IT system blocks this feature from being enabled.

Sometimes this happens if you are zoomed in on your browser. To zoom out, you can go into your browser settings, the three dots at the top corner, and click the "-" button to zoom out. The buttons should appear once you do.
