Can I trade over the weekend?

Yes. UZO allows weekend trading on instruments that stay open, and there is no deadline forcing you to close before the bell.

The short answer

Yes, UZO allows weekend trading. On Instant accounts you can open and hold positions over the weekend, on any instrument that trades when traditional markets are closed (crypto being the main one). Because none of our accounts have a time limit, you are never forced to close before Friday or reopen on Monday.

Weekend trading at UZO

Most markets (forex, indices, metals, energies, and stocks) close for the weekend and reopen Monday. A few do not. Cryptocurrencies trade continuously, including Saturday and Sunday, so if your strategy lives in those markets the weekend is just another part of the week.

Weekend trading is confirmed on Instant accounts. If you are on another product and want to know exactly how weekend access is handled there, check that product's page or your dashboard, which always reflects the live rule for your specific account. We would rather you confirm it on your own account than rely on a general statement.

Which instruments are open at the weekend

You can only trade what the market itself keeps open. UZO does not invent extra weekend sessions. We mirror real market hours using real third-party price feeds.

No, follow standard market hours

Exact session times can shift slightly by instrument and around holidays. Your platform (MetaTrader 5, TradeLocker, or MatchTrader) shows the live trading hours for each symbol, and live pricing always reflects what is actually open.

No deadline to beat

Every UZO account, evaluation and funded alike, has no time limit. That has a direct effect on weekends: you are never under pressure to flatten positions on Friday just to avoid running out of days, and you do not lose ground for sitting through a quiet weekend.

A position opened before the weekend can be carried straight through and managed into Monday. A crypto position can be opened, adjusted, or closed across Saturday and Sunday like any other day. The clock is not your opponent here. Your trading objectives are.

Weekend financing costs

Holding a position open carries the same real-world costs we apply everywhere. Depending on the instrument, an open position can incur a swap or financing charge for being held, and weekends are no exception. For instruments that close Friday and reopen Monday, the weekend swap is often applied in a single larger step earlier in the week to account for the days the market is shut.

These charges are part of the real spreads and commissions UZO applies uniformly to keep the simulation honest. The exact swap for any instrument is shown on your dashboard and in your platform's symbol specifications, so you can see the cost before you decide to hold.

Before you hold over a weekend

Confirm the instrument actually trades on weekends, check the swap or financing cost for holding it, and remember your drawdown limits still apply the whole time. The daily drawdown resets at 00:00 UTC each day, including Saturday and Sunday.
