How UZO protects your data and account security

Limited data collection, identity checks handled by Veriff, and KYC only after you pass.

Short answer

UZO collects only the data needed to run your account and pay you. Identity verification is handled by Veriff, a dedicated KYC provider, and it is only required after you pass an evaluation, never to start trading.

If you are deciding whether to hand over personal details and identity documents, here is exactly when we ask for what, who handles it, and how to reach the people responsible for your data.

What data we collect and when

We keep data collection minimal and tied to a clear purpose. At sign-up we collect only what is needed to create and operate your account and process your evaluation fee. We do not ask for identity documents to begin.

Identity documents come into the picture only once, after you have passed an evaluation and are ready to receive a reward. At that point we verify who you are so that payouts go to the right person.

How identity verification works through Veriff

Identity checks (KYC) are not run by us in-house. They are handled by Veriff, a dedicated identity-verification provider, so that the sensitive part of the process sits with specialists who do this for a living.

When the time comes, you complete a short guided flow with Veriff that confirms your identity. You only do this once you have passed and are moving toward your first payout, so the documents you share are tied to a real reward, not a hopeful trial.

You verify once, when it counts

KYC happens after you pass, not before. Your evaluation fee is refunded on your first reward payout, and verification is the final step before that money clears.

Account and login security across platforms

You trade on established third-party platforms: MetaTrader 5, TradeLocker, and MatchTrader. (MetaTrader 5 is not available to users in the United States.) These are widely used, well-maintained trading platforms, and your trading credentials live within them.

A few practical habits protect your account more than anything we can do alone:

  • Use a strong, unique password for your UZO account and your trading platform login.

  • Never share your login or platform credentials with anyone, including people claiming to be support.

  • Be cautious of messages or sites that are not UZO asking for your details.

Who controls your data and how to ask questions

Two entities are responsible for the service. EonStrategy L.L.C-FZ (UAE, licence 2204298.01) is the principal operator, and UZO LTD (Saint Lucia) operates the MetaTrader 5 simulation platform. Your data is handled in connection with running these services.

Specific security certifications, encryption standards, and data-retention periods are set out in our privacy policy rather than summarized here, so the published version is always the authoritative one. For any question about how your data is collected, used, or stored, write to support@uzo.com and we will point you to the right detail.
