Risk disclosure: what you are agreeing to when you trade with UZO

A plain-language summary of the risk, the money, and the legal reality before you pay.

The short answer

UZO is a simulated trading service. You trade against real live market prices, but the capital is simulated, so no live trading capital is ever at risk here. What you pay is a real evaluation fee for access to a skill assessment, and that fee is the only money you can lose. Rewards, when earned, are real and paid as a 90 percent trader, 10 percent firm split.

This page is a single, honest overview of what trading with UZO involves and what you agree to when you buy an evaluation. It is written to be read in full before you pay.

What is and is not at risk

The distinction matters, so we state it plainly. You are not depositing trading capital with us, and you cannot lose money on your trades the way you would in a live brokerage account. The balance you trade is simulated.

  • Not at risk: any live trading capital. There is none. Your positions move against simulated balance only.

  • At risk: the evaluation fee you pay for access. If you do not pass the evaluation, that fee can be lost.

UZO is described as a simulated, or Syn-Fi, prop trading service for exactly this reason. The challenge is real, the prices are real, and the rewards are real, but the capital is not.

What you are paying for

Your payment is an evaluation fee. It buys access to a structured skill assessment that measures how you manage risk and produce returns under real market conditions. It is not a deposit, and it does not become a trading balance you can withdraw.

Treat the fee the way you would treat any access cost: it is spent at the point of purchase, and whether you recover its value depends on your performance. On your first reward payout the evaluation fee is refunded, so passing makes the assessment effectively free. Most evaluations do not pass, and we would rather you knew that before you decided.

Real prices, simulated capital

Every price you see comes from real third-party market feeds. Real spreads and commissions are applied uniformly across accounts, so the simulation reflects genuine market conditions rather than a softened version of them. Slippage, volatility, and the cost of trading are all part of the test.

Markets you can trade include forex, metals, crypto, indices, stocks, and energies. The intent is simple: the environment behaves like the real market, so the skill the assessment measures is the skill that transfers. See live pricing on your dashboard for the current spread and commission on any instrument.

Who you are contracting with

Two entities operate the service, and it is worth knowing which is which.

Rewards and the 90/10 split

Rewards are real money

When you earn a reward, you keep 90 percent and the firm keeps 10 percent. That split is fixed at every account size. Payouts are approved in under an hour and clear within twelve hours, by bank transfer or crypto.

Rewards are funded by UZO, not drawn from other traders. The capital you traded was simulated, but the reward you earn from performing well is paid in real money to you.
