How do I add a video to my V1CE page?
On V1CE ClientCapture OS you add a video to your V1CE page using the Portfolio block in the page editor. The Portfolio block holds videos, images, and case-study items together as a showcase section on your page. Videos can be hosted on YouTube or Vimeo, and embed directly so visitors can play them inline. There is no separate "video background" feature on V1CE ClientCapture OS.
How to add a video via the Portfolio block
To add a video to your V1CE page:
Log in at app.v1ce.co
Go to Pages in the sidebar
Open the page you want to add the video to
In the page editor, add a Portfolio block (or open the existing Portfolio block if your page already has one)
Add a video item to the Portfolio block — paste the YouTube or Vimeo URL
Save
The video appears on your V1CE page inside the Portfolio block. Visitors who tap your card or open your page can play the video inline without leaving the page.
What video types work best on V1CE pages
A few patterns work well for V1CE page videos:
• Short introduction videos (15 to 60 seconds) — say hello, what you do, what V1CE links to look at
• Product or service demos — show your work in action
• Company overview — a quick look at your business
• Testimonials — short customer stories help build trust
Most visitors won't watch more than about 60 seconds, so keep it tight.
Video requirements
To use a video in your V1CE Portfolio block:
• Host the video on YouTube or Vimeo
• Make sure the video privacy is set to public or unlisted (not private)
• Use the standard share URL from YouTube or Vimeo when adding it to the Portfolio block
Does V1CE support video backgrounds?
No. V1CE ClientCapture OS does not have a video-as-background feature for V1CE pages. If you saw a video background option on the older V1CE software, it has not been brought across to V1CE ClientCapture OS. Use the Portfolio block to embed videos as content instead.
I can't see the Portfolio block option in my page editor
If you can't see a Portfolio block option in your page editor, your page may be using a template that doesn't include Portfolio, or you may be on the older V1CE Plus, Pro, or Teams software where the feature surface is different. Contact V1CE support with a screenshot of your page editor and the team will tell you which template you are on and how to add a video on your version.
If you are on the legacy V1CE Plus, Pro, or Teams software
On the legacy V1CE software, the video feature is on the Plus or Teams plans and is added from the legacy profile editor (under Edit Profile). The mechanism is different from V1CE ClientCapture OS, but YouTube and Vimeo embeds work the same way. If you need help on the legacy version, contact V1CE support.
