We're excited to share the latest Valpay updates from our May 8 release! These enhancements are designed to make your day-to-day work more efficient, whether you're managing onboarding, tracking payments, or overseeing your organization.
**Here's what's new:**
**Onboarding**
• **Store Setup Recovery** — If a store fails to complete setup due to a payment method error, you can now recover without starting over. Retry the failed step, complete onboarding with a warning, or roll back — whatever works best for your situation.
• **French Translation Fix** — We've resolved missing French text in Fiserv merchant onboarding steps 3–5. These sections now display correctly when your portal is set to French.
**Payments**
• **Filter by Terminal** — Narrow down your transaction view by the specific terminal device used, making it easier to track in-person sales from particular locations or devices.
• **Terminal Serial Number on Transaction Detail** — See the exact terminal serial number on any in-person transaction detail page for better tracking and reconciliation.
• **3DS Authentication Details** — View 3D Secure authentication information directly on transaction pages for improved visibility into payment security.
• **Cascading Filters** — Filter transactions by Partner, Merchant, and Store in sequence. Perfect for managing multiple organizational levels.
• **Terminal Info in Receipts** — Transaction receipts now include terminal information for in-person payments, simplifying record-keeping.
**User Management**
• **Improved Name Search** — Search for users by first and last name separately for faster, more precise lookups.
⚠️ **Note:** Currently, user search works by email address. We're actively adding first and last name search functionality and will notify you as soon as it's available.
**Disputes**
• **Notification Improvements** — Dispute email notifications are now more targeted, sending alerts only for relevant status changes. This means fewer unnecessary notifications and a cleaner inbox.
