Vanta Trust Center is the way to demonstrate a commitment to security by proactively sharing your security program details–that you've been working so hard to achieve–with customers and prospects.
If you are looking for information about the stand-alone Trust Center tool, please follow these instructions. This will detail the process for setting up your Trust Center if you are not using the full Vanta product.
Trust Center Overview
The Trust Center overview page is where you will create and manage your Trust Center.
From here, you will be able to view total visits, individual page views, resource downloads, and passing controls to showcase in your Trust Center
Access
The Access tab will show the history of viewers who have been granted access and how many times they have viewed the page.
Access Requests will allow you to accept or deny requests to view your Trust Center.
If you would like to accept multiple requests at once, you can select multiple names and choose Give Access or Deny Access
.If you choose to grant access, you can also set a date for when you would like it to expire.
Request History can be found from the top right-hand corner; this will detail all access requests.
Activity
The Activity tab will show you all of the viewing activity within your Trust Center.
Settings
The settings page will allow you to choose which documents are requested only. This means viewers would have to request access to the specific document to view it

Manage public and full access
On the Settings page, control whether visitors see your Trust Center by default or must request access:
Enable public access
Let anyone view your Trust Center content without requesting access.Enable full access
On: Show the Request access button for visitors. Once approved, viewers can download resources and documentation.
Off: Hide the Request access button. Trust Center admins can still send invitations manually to grant access.
Editing your Trust Center
From the Trust Center overview page, select Edit
Items can be added to your Trust Center by selecting the pen icon next to the category you want to manage.
Compliance
List the compliance Frameworks your company has achieved by selecting the pen icon next to Compliance.
Adding Resources
Resources can be added from Vanta or uploaded from your desktop. We suggest you include the following:
Link to your company's security page
SOC 2 report
ISO 27001 report
Penetration tests
Policy report
Previously filled-out security questionnaires
Anything else you want to include
The Overview page shows your top four resources. Customers and prospects can access the rest of your resources from your Resources tab. Only resources you have added will be visible to those with access to your Trust Center.
Resource Categorization
When adding or editing resources on your Trust Center, you can now select a category to provide additional context.
To add a new custom category, select the Edit resource icon
Select +Add category
Provide a category name, select Save
To add a category to a resource, select the resource and choose a category from the dropdown or-
Drag and drop the resource under the category name.
Controls
Select the Controls tab
Select the pen icon to add, edit, and manage what controls will be visible on your Trust Center
From here, you can add categories to list your controls under, as well as pick which controls you would like to be visible to viewers of your Trust Center.
Subprocessors
Add subprocessors from the subprocessor tab by selecting the pen icon
Complete the information required in the pop-up modal for that information to appear on your Trust Center
Adding Updates
Updates regarding your company's security and compliance can be added to the updates tab and provide valuable information about recent happenings within your organization.
Adding FAQs
Use the FAQ section of the Trust Center to proactively address the commonly asked questions your organization receives repeatedly. Examples of what you should include in your FAQ:
Commonly asked security questions
Permission requirements
Data storage locations
Anything that your sales or security team gets questions about
The FAQ tab displays all your questions and answers, while the Overview page shows your top four FAQs.
Each FAQ also has a permanent link attached to it, allowing you to share specific FAQs seamlessly.
Media
Add YouTube or Vimeo videos to establish better insight and trust in your business. Currently, you can include links to these videos.
Select the Media tab.
Select Add Media
Click the + icon
Add the links to the videos you would like to display
Keep in mind that only the first three videos will show on the front page of the Trust Center
Customizing your Trust Center
Select Trust Center from the left-hand navigation panel
Click Edit
The left-hand side of the screen will provide a customization modal, allowing you to upload a header image and choose the colors and fonts you would like displayed on your Trust Center
Trust Center (Stand-alone tool)
If you use Trust Center as a stand-alone tool, you will create and manage your Trust Center on the Trust Center overview page.
You can view total visits, individual page views, resource downloads, and passing controls to showcase in your Trust Center.

Controls
Select the Controls tab.
Select the pen icon to add, edit, and manage the controls that will be visible in your Trust Center.
From here, you can add categories to list your controls under, as well as edit and add the controls you would like to be present in your Trust Center.
Keep in mind that when uploading controls, it must be a CSV or Excel file with the following columns.

You can also download the Excel template directly from the pop-up modal
Once controls have been added or uploaded, check the boxes of the controls you would like visible on your Trust Center.
Subprocessors
Add subprocessors from the subprocessor tab by selecting the pen icon
Select the + icon
From here
You can select +New Vendor
Complete the vendor information, and select Save.
Or, check the items you would like included from Vendors that have already been added.
Adding Updates
Updates regarding your company's security and compliance can be added to the updates tab, providing valuable information about recent happenings within your organization.
Select the pen icon next to Updates
Include the necessary information in the pop-up and click Save
If any users have subscribed to your updates, you can choose to notify them of this update by checking the Notify Subscribers box.
