Tracking time during an event

How to log your working time on an event using the mobile app.

Vantage has a built-in timer on the mobile app so you can log your working hours against an event. Your logged time feeds into the Timesheets page on the dashboard, where managers review and approve it.

Using the timer

To track time on an event:

  1. Open the event from your events list.

  2. Tap the timer to start tracking your time.

  3. Select a Type of time (for example: Working hours, Travel time, or Time off).

  4. When you are done, tap the timer again to stop.

Start the timer when you begin work and stop it when you finish. If you forget, your manager can manually log time from the dashboard.

Once your manager approves a timesheet, the logged time for that week can no longer be edited. Make sure your time entries are correct before the end of the week.
