Managing your project task list

How to add, manage, and track tasks on a project in Vantage.

Tasks on a project let you track the actions your team needs to complete to deliver the job, like artwork approvals, client sign-offs, permit applications, and anything else that needs to happen before the work is done.

Adding tasks to a project

Tasks are managed in the right panel of the Info tab on the project drawer.

To add a task manually, click the + button in the Tasks panel header. Enter the task name, assign a responsible person, and set a deadline if needed. Both the assignee and deadline are optional.

Tracking task progress

The Tasks panel header shows a progress count (for example, Tasks 2/5), so you can see at a glance how many tasks are complete. Overdue tasks are shown in red.

You can search tasks by name and filter them within the panel to find what you need quickly.

Completing and removing tasks

To mark a task as complete, click the checkbox next to it.

To remove a task, open it and click the delete option. Manually added tasks can be deleted individually without affecting any template.

If your workspace uses task list templates, you can apply one to fill in a standard set of tasks automatically instead of adding them one by one.

FAQ

Can I add a task without a deadline or assignee?

Yes. Both the deadline and assignee are optional on manually added tasks. You can leave them blank and fill them in later.

Can I see all tasks across all my projects in one place?

Yes. The Tasks page in the left sidebar shows all tasks assigned to you across projects, events, and opportunities. You can filter by project, status, deadline, and more.

If I add a task to a project, will it show on the events too?

No. Project tasks and event tasks are separate. Tasks added to a project stay on the project. Events have their own task lists.
