You can create a new event directly from inside a project. This automatically links the event to that project and copies over key details like the client.
Go to the Projects page and open the project you want to add an event to.
On the project drawer, find the Events section.
Click +Add event.
Select the event type (for example, Install, Survey, or Delivery).
Fill in the event details. The client and project fields are pre-filled for you.
If the project has an address, the Address name field is also pre-filled. If the project does not have an address but the client does, the client's address is used instead. You can change it, clear it, or create a new one.
Click Save to create the event.
The new event now appears in the project's event list and on the Events page.
You can click Copy from project title to use the project's title as the event title, saving time when the names should match.
