Permission groups control what each user can see and do in Vantage. Every Full user is assigned at least one permission group when they are invited. Lite users are always assigned the Lite group automatically.
Full user permission groups
Admin
Admins have full access to everything in the workspace, including user management and workspace settings. Use this group for anyone who needs to configure Vantage or manage the team.
Standard
Standard users have full access to create, edit, and manage events, projects, clients, and other records. They cannot manage users or change workspace settings. This is the right group for most project managers and coordinators.
Restricted
Restricted users can view records, use the calendar, create tasks, and be assigned as an event owner. They cannot edit event or project details. Use this for team members who need visibility but should not make changes.
Lite permission group
The Lite permission group is for lite users. It gives mobile-app-only access, limited to the events assigned to that user. This group is assigned automatically and cannot be changed.
Custom permission groups can be created within Full user types to set more granular access rules. To add one to your workspace, get in touch and let us know the name and access rules you need.
