Vector leverages the deBridge Liquidity Network (DLN) to provide seamless cross-chain token swaps. From a user perspective, bridging tokens (e.g., SOL to ETH) through Vector appears as a smooth and integrated swap experience.
How to bridge?
The bridge option appears whenever you want to buy/sell a token cross-chain. It also appears if you do not have enough native token but have asset on another chain to carry out the transaction.
Bridging Option
When you select Bridge in the app UI, you’re prompted to choose the tokens and amount (e.g., $30 in SOL) to bridge. deBridge then handles the secure transfer and conversion behind the scenes, typically completing in seconds.
Bridging Example
Estimated times (e.g., 11 seconds) and fees (network + platform) are shown clearly before you confirm.
You can use this process to buy ETH-based meme coins with SOL, or SOL-based meme coins with ETH — all in one seamless flow.
Common User Issues & FAQs
What if my transaction (tx) fails?
What if my transaction (tx) fails?
If your bridge transaction didn't successfully land on the blockchain, your funds won't be collected. No funds will be lost.
Why is my bridge taking longer than the estimate?
Why is my bridge taking longer than the estimate?
Sometimes bridging can slightly exceed estimated times due to network congestion or liquidity conditions. Typically, it won't last much longer than the estimate. If severely delayed, it will eventually revert.
What happens if my transaction is stuck?
What happens if my transaction is stuck?
If a bridging transaction gets stuck, it'll automatically cancel and revert after 1 hour from creation. All fees paid will be refunded except for the gas and priority fees used for the initial transaction submission.
In what token do I receive my refund?
In what token do I receive my refund?
Refunds typically come in USDC. Occasionally, you might receive the native token of the blockchain involved. You will not get refunded in your original input token, especially if it was a volatile or low-liquidity token.
Why did I receive some USDC back?
Why did I receive some USDC back?
Bridging operations are executed via USD (USDC). If the swap between your token and USDC at execution time yields a better rate than initially quoted, excess USDC is refunded back to you.
