Answer

Here are the most common causes and fixes:

Live Inside count is wrong

The system counts entries and exits separately. If the sensor missed an exit event, the count may be higher than actual. It self-corrects over time. Admins can also manually reset it: hover the widget → ⋯ → Reset inside (requires Reset inside permission).

Historical data looks incorrect

Admins can correct raw data in ⚙ Settings → Data Manager. Select the location and date range, edit the cells, add a correction note, and save. All edits are logged for audit purposes.

Widget shows "Sample data"

The sensor is in test mode or not yet connected. Check ⚙ Settings → Devices to verify the sensor is online and assigned to the correct location.

Opening hours filtering

If the widget uses opening hours filtering, data outside those hours is excluded. Check the location's opening hours setting under ⚙ Settings → Companies → [location] → Opening Hours.

Wrong source selected

Make sure the widget or report source matches your intent — Location (combined), Zone (specific area), or Entrance (individual door).

For significant data discrepancies affecting multiple days or locations, contact support@vemcogroup.com with the location name, date range affected, and a description of the issue.
