Answer
A zero or stuck count almost always means data isn't reaching the portal. Check in this order:
Is the sensor online? A zero count usually means the sensor or one counting direction is offline. Check power (PoE) and the site's internet. If you received an "Offline Footfall Alert" or "Offline Footfall System" notification for the site, that is the cause — the sensor has stopped reporting.
One direction down? Live Inside = entries minus exits. If only IN or only OUT is counting, the number will look wrong. Both directions must report.
"No counting line, no data"? This means no counting line is configured (or it was removed) for that sensor — it needs to be set up again before data appears.
Sensor on a local mini-PC / Raspberry Pi that keeps switching off? If the on-site unit loses power or reboots repeatedly, counting stops intermittently — flag the site and we'll check the unit and its power supply.
Right date/period selected? Make sure the dashboard isn't showing a past day or a filtered period with no traffic.
Recently reset? The daily occupancy count resets each day — early morning it may legitimately read zero.
If the sensor is online and the count is still zero or clearly wrong, tell me your site name and I'll raise a calibration/data check with the team.
