My Payment Is Delayed – What Should I Do?

Learn what to do if your payment from The Oblist is delayed and how to contact the finance team for assistance.

Written by The Oblist

At The Oblist, we ensure payments are processed as quickly and efficiently as possible. However, delays can occasionally happen due to various reasons. Here’s what you need to know if your payment is late and how to get assistance.

1. Payment Processing Timeline

Payments are usually processed within 15 days after delivery is confirmed.

  • Delivery Confirmation: We verify that the shipment has been successfully delivered using tracking information provided by the carrier. Once confirmed, the payment process begins.

  • Exceptions: If there are issues with the tracking data or discrepancies in delivery confirmation, the process may take slightly longer as we investigate.

2. Why Might My Payment Be Delayed?

While delays are rare, they may occur due to:

  • Carrier Tracking Delays: If the tracking information from the shipping provider is not updated promptly, payment processing may be delayed.

  • Bank Processing Times: Depending on your bank, transactions may take additional time to appear in your account.

  • Verification Reviews: Payments may be held briefly for routine checks to ensure compliance and accuracy.

3. What Should I Do If My Payment Is Late?

If you have not received your payment within 15 days after the confirmed delivery, here are the steps to take:

  1. Check Your Seller Dashboard

    • Log in to your dashboard and review the status of your orders. Ensure all relevant tracking information has been provided and updated.

  2. Verify Bank Details

    • Confirm that your bank account information in the dashboard is correct. Errors in account details can lead to delays.

  3. Contact The Oblist Finance Team

    • If your payment remains delayed beyond the expected timeframe, contact our finance team at accounting@oblist.com.

    • Provide the following details for faster assistance:

      • Your name and seller name.

      • Order numbers associated with the delayed payment.

      • The expected payment amount and date.

4. Rest Assured – We’re Here to Help

Delays are uncommon, and we are committed to resolving any issues promptly. Our team actively monitors all payments to ensure they are processed as expected. If an issue arises, rest assured that we will work with you to resolve it quickly.
