Learn how to process an inbound order for Containers in Ventory application through scanning with these simple step-by-step instructions.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Step 1 : Ensure you're in the correct stock location > Navigate to Inbound order and select it > Tap "Start"

Step 2 : Navigate to the scanner on the bottom > scan the product barcodes (product number, Bin, Container) > adjust quantity, Source bin or source container if required > Click on “Process” > click on Finish > Click on “complete”

If the product is serial managed a serial must be scanned. If the product is LPN managed an lpn must be scanned. If the product is lot managed a lot must be scanned If the product is quantity Managed : Product Number, Location (Bin or container) must be scanned.

Tips :

For inbound, we are not looking for an existing product but we are looking to add one to the system.

A product requires a Location to be put:

The location can always only be one of two things, Bin or Container.

  1. If the product goes to a bin, you only need to scan the bin.

  2. If the product goes to a container, you only need to scan the container. (However if the container itself is not yet in a bin, this means the container still needs to be inbounded, then you will have to scan a bin to assign the container and product to).
