Processing an Outbound order for containers through scanning on Ventory application

Learn how to process an outbound order for Containers in the Ventory application through scanning with these simple instructions.

Step 1 : Ensure you're in the correct stock location > Navigate to Outbound order and select it > Tap "Start"

Step 2 : Navigate to the scanner on the bottom > scan the product number and location (in case of quantity managed product) > adjust quantity if required > click on “Process “

You can also directly scan the “Container” as well > click on “Process

Step 3 : Click on “Finish” > Complete > you have successfully completed an outbound order

Tips :

In case of Outbound order, we already know the location (Container or Bin) the products will be outbound from and understand that the product already exists in our system.

So in case of the following managed type, scan the following to process an outbound order :

  • Quantity Product - Product Number & Location (Container or Bin)

  • Lot Product - Lot Number & Location (Container or Bin)

  • Serial Product - Serial Number

  • LPN Product - LPN
