How to add and manage event types

Getting your event types setup in the desktop admin app is the first step toward using the scheduling tools in VetLogix

Setting up event types is a crucial step to efficiently managing appointments within VetLogix. Event types allow you to categorize and organize various activities, such as routine check-ups, emergency visits, herd health consultations, staff meetings and more. By defining these event types, practices can streamline scheduling workflows, reduce conflicts and improve team coordination.

This first video will walk through how to add event types that do not require a work order but still need to be tracked in the calendar, such as staff vacation or internal meetings.


This second video will walk through how to add event types that require a work order, which are those that are related to client work. Before proceeding to this step, you should already have your work order types created (see how to add and manage work order types).
