Binders allow you to group multiple treatment protocols together and assign them to specific clients or your entire client base. This is useful when you want to apply a standardized set of protocols to particular farms or situations.
You must create treatment protocols before you can build binders.
How to create binders for treatment protocols
From the side navigation, select Configuration > Treatment Protocols.
Select the Binders tab.
To create a new binder select the Add Binder button.
On the next screen this is where you choose which treatment protocols you want to bundle together and then assign to a specific client or all clients. You choose the start and end dates for the protocols.
After you've selected which protocols to include, select the Save Binder button.
Once you've saved the binder, before it can be published a signature must be added. To do this, select the Add Signature link.
You can choose to manually type a signature or upload an image from your computer.
After your signature has been added, you will be able to select the Publish button.
NOTE: Once a binder has been published its status changes to Locked and edits can no longer be made to preserve clinical accuracy. If you need to make changes, you will need to select the Clone Binder binder button to create a new editable version. The original signed binder will remain read-only and preserved for historical purposes.
Signed binders can be printed or emailed directly to clients. The exported PDF includes the veterinarian’s signature along with treatment task details. If choosing the Email option, the treatment protocol will be sent to the billing contact(s) for the client.
