How to Set Your Monthly Rate
To set or update your pricing:
Sign in to your Vidle Housing Host Dashboard.
Go to Listings → My Listings.
Locate the property you want to update.
Update your monthly rate directly through Quick Edit, or click Edit to open the full listing details.
Enter your desired 30-day monthly rate.
Save and publish your changes.
If you manage multiple properties, you can also use Bulk Edit to update pricing for several listings at once.
To use Bulk Edit:
Select the listings you wish to update.
Click Bulk Edit in the top-right corner.
Select the pricing information you want to change.
Enter the new amount and save your changes.
You can bulk edit:
Monthly rate
Cleaning fee
Pet fee
Important: Bulk changes will apply to all selected listings, so review your selections carefully before saving.
How Monthly Pricing Works
Vidle Housing listings are designed for stays of at least 30 days. Your monthly rate should represent the amount you want to charge for a 30-day stay.
When setting your price, consider expenses and features such as:
Furnishings
Utilities
Wi-Fi
Parking
Laundry
Location
Property size
Amenities
Seasonal demand
Proximity to hospitals and major employers
Be sure your advertised monthly rate accurately reflects what you're willing to accept for the property.

Vidle Housing offers a Pricing Calculator to help you determine a suggested monthly rate for your property.
Many traveling healthcare professionals receive a housing stipend as part of their assignment compensation. The Pricing Calculator takes this into consideration and provides a suggested rate to help you price your property competitively for travelers searching in your area.
The suggested rate is a recommendation only. You remain in full control of your listing price and can choose the monthly rate that works best for your property.
Cleaning Fees and Pet Fees
In addition to your monthly rate, you can add applicable fees for:
Cleaning
Pets
These fees should be clearly entered on your listing so travelers can understand the cost of their stay before booking.
If you manage multiple properties, cleaning and pet fees can also be updated using the Bulk Edit feature.
Security Deposits and Additional Payments
Vidle Housing does not currently support security deposits directly through the platform.
If you require additional payments, you may submit Money Requests through the reservation for up to $150 at a time and up to $1,000 total per reservation.
Per the Vidle Housing Terms & Conditions, any additional payment requirements, lease agreements, or fees must be clearly disclosed in your House Rules or Additional Rules section before booking.
Requests for payment outside of the Vidle Housing platform are strictly prohibited.
Pricing for PMS and Airbnb-Synced Listings
If your listing is connected through Airbnb or a supported Property Management System (PMS), pricing may automatically sync to Vidle Housing.

Guesty
Because many external platforms use nightly pricing, Vidle Housing may pull the nightly rate and multiply it by 30 to calculate an estimated monthly price.
For example:
Nightly rate: $150 × 30 nights = $4,500 monthly rate
This automatic calculation may not always reflect the monthly price you want to offer on Vidle Housing.
How to Prevent Your PMS From Overwriting Your Vidle Housing Price
If you want to set a different monthly rate specifically for Vidle Housing, you can use Sync Settings to prevent your connected platform from overwriting your pricing.
To set your own Vidle Housing monthly rate:
Sign in to your Host Dashboard.
Go to Listings → My Listings.
Update your property with your desired monthly rate.
Go to Account → Sync Settings.
Lock Pricing to prevent future syncs from overwriting the price you've set.
Important: If Pricing remains unlocked, future syncs from your PMS or connected platform may overwrite manual pricing changes made directly on Vidle Housing.
