1. Clear Your Browser Cache
Sometimes, temporary data stored in your browser can cause glitches or prevent changes from saving. Clearing your cache and reloading the page can often resolve these issues.
On most browsers, you can do this by going to Settings > Privacy & Security > Clear Browsing Data.
After clearing, refresh your page and try editing or uploading again.
2. Use a Desktop Browser
While mobile devices are convenient, the Vidle Housing dashboard is optimized for desktop browsers. For best results, use Chrome or Firefox when editing listings, uploading photos, or making large updates.
3. Check Image Size and Format
Photos are essential for attracting guests, but oversized or unsupported files can prevent uploads.
Maximum file size: 25MB per image
Supported formats: JPG and PNG
If your image is too large, consider resizing or compressing it using free tools like TinyPNG or Photoshop.
4. Ensure a Stable Internet Connection
A slow or unstable connection can cause uploads to fail or edits to not save. Make sure you are connected to a reliable network when making changes.
5. Avoid Unsupported Characters or Formatting
Certain special characters or text formatting can cause errors when saved in your listing. Avoid using:
Symbols like &, %, $, @, etc., in your titles or descriptions
Copy-pasted text from word processors that include hidden formatting
6. Contact Support if Problems Persist
