How to Access Your Tax Information
To review or update your tax information:
Log in to your Vidle Housing Host Dashboard.
Click Account in the left-hand menu.
Select Payout Method.
Open your Stripe Connect account.
Follow the prompts within Stripe to review or update your tax information.
The exact options available may vary depending on your account type, location, and business structure.
What Tax Information Can Be Updated?
Depending on your account, Stripe may allow you to review or update information such as:
Legal name or business name.
Business type.
Social Security Number (SSN).
Employer Identification Number (EIN).
Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN).
W-9 information for U.S.-based hosts.
Business address and contact information.
Make sure the information you provide matches your official tax and business records.
Hosting as an Individual or Business
Hosts may operate their Vidle Housing rental as an individual, LLC, or other eligible business entity.
If you're using an LLC or business entity, make sure the legal business name, EIN, and other information entered in Stripe match your official records.
Tax Documents
Your tax information may be used to prepare applicable tax documents, such as a Form 1099, when reporting requirements apply.
Tax documents and reporting requirements may vary based on factors such as your location, account type, payment activity, and applicable law.
Protecting Your Sensitive Information
All sensitive tax information is securely managed through Stripe.
Vidle Housing's Customer Experience team does not have access to your complete SSN, EIN, bank account information, or other sensitive financial details. For your security, never send this information through Vidle Housing messaging or live chat.
