How to Create Listings on Vidle Housing

Create listings on Vidle Housing

If you’re already registered as a host, you can create your listings by heading over to your Host Dashboard.

  1. Access Your Dashboard
    Go to www.vidlehousing.com and click Sign In. Once logged in, on the left-hand side, navigate to My Listings.

  2. Start Creating a Listing
    On the top right corner of the screen, click Create a Listing. You’ll then be directed to the listing setup page.

Step 1: Property Details

  • Room Type: Entire place, Private room, or Hotel room

  • Property Type: Apartment, Condo, House, Hotel, or Townhouse

  • Internal Name: This is for your reference only (e.g., “1234 Main Street” or “Apartment 2B”)

  • External Name: This is the public display name that travelers will see

  • Listing Title: Make it catchy to attract guests (e.g., “Cozy One-Bedroom Townhome in the Heart of the City”)

  • Listing Description: Provide a detailed summary of your home and what’s included

  • Space Description: Describe the layout and any extra features

  • Access Description: Explain how guests can access the property, including directions from major landmarks


Step 2: Bedrooms, Beds, Bathrooms, and Guest Count

Specify the number of:

  • Bedrooms

  • Beds

  • Bathrooms

  • Maximum guests


Step 3: Media

Upload listing photos (up to 25 images) to showcase your property.


Step 4: Pricing

Set your pricing for 30 days, as well as any cleaning fees or pet fees.


Step 5: Amenities and Tags

  • Select all amenities that apply (such as Wi-Fi, laundry, and cleaning supplies). Including more amenities makes your listing more appealing and helps it appear higher in search results. Healthcare professionals especially value reliable Wi-Fi, in-unit laundry, a fully equipped kitchen, and clean, comfortable living spaces during their assignments.


Step 6: Location

Enter your property’s full address:

  • Street address

  • Unit number (if applicable)

  • City, State, and ZIP code

Note: This information will only be provided to travelers once a booking is confirmed, but it helps them find your listing during searches.


Step 7: House Rules

  • Occupancy Limit: Maximum number of guests allowed

  • Additional Rules: Any specific rules you’d like travelers to follow

  • Check-in Instructions: Detailed instructions for guests, which will be sent 48 hours prior to check-in


Vidle Housing supports CSV imports and integrations with PMS systems such as:

  • Hospitable

  • Hostaway

  • Airbnb

You can upload your CSV file or connect your PMS under the Listings tab, then select Integrations. This allows your listings and existing templates to sync automatically with Vidle Housing, saving you time on setup and management.
