Security Deposits on Vidle Housing

Learn about Vidle Housing’s payment options, including what fees are supported and why security deposits are not currently available on our platform.

At this time, Vidle Housing does not support security deposits directly on our platform.

Our system is designed to simplify the booking process by handling specific types of rental-related payments. Currently, Vidle Housing supports the collection of:

  • Monthly rent payments

  • Cleaning fees

  • Pet fees

However, hosts do have the ability to request additional funds through the reservation system in increments of $150, up to a maximum of $1,000 per reservation.

Please note that all payments must remain on-platform. Any attempt to collect funds outside of Vidle Housing is not permitted and may result in account restrictions.

We are always looking for ways to improve our platform, and additional payment functionality may be considered in future updates.
