Screening hosts helps us:

  • 🏡 Ensure listings are owned or managed by legitimate hosts

  • 🤝 Build trust between hosts and healthcare professionals

  • 🔒 Maintain a safe, professional marketplace

Healthcare professionals often book housing sight-unseen and under tight timelines. Verifying host identities helps give them confidence when choosing where to stay.

When Identity Verification Is Required

Once you complete the sign-up process, identity verification is required before you can create or publish a listing on Vidle Housing.

This step only needs to be completed once.

How to Verify Your Identity (Step-by-Step)

Step 1: Log in to Your Host Dashboard

Visit www.vidlehousing.com and sign in using your email address and password.

Step 2: Navigate to “My Listings”

From the left-hand menu in your Host Dashboard, click Listings, then select My Listings.

Step 3: Click “Verify to Create”

If your identity has not yet been verified, you’ll see a button labeled “Verify to Create.”
Click this button to begin the verification process.

Step 4: Scan the QR Code

A QR code will appear on your screen.

  • Open the camera app on your phone

  • Hold your phone over the QR code

  • Tap the notification that appears on your phone

This will open the secure verification page on your mobile device.

Step 5: Complete ID & Selfie Verification

On your phone, you’ll be prompted to:

  • Upload a valid government-issued ID

  • Take a selfie to confirm your identity

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete both steps.

Step 6: Confirmation & Access

Once verification is successful:

  • The QR code on your computer screen will turn green

  • You’ll see a confirmation notification in the corner of your screen

  • You’ll be redirected back to your Host Dashboard

You can now begin creating and publishing your listings.
