When does a stop count as a stop?

A stop is recorded if the vehicle remains in the same position for more than 3 minutes.

As soon as the vehicle moves again, the stop ends. You can view stop durations in the route history.

If the vehicle remains in the same position with the engine running for more than 3 minutes, this is not considered a stop, but idling. See The Fleet Geo Dashboard for more information on idling.
