Using PAT to Authorize VineMigrator® and Filevine®
The first step before you can use VineMigrator ® is to connect the app to your Filevine live org instance via Filevine's authentication system, called PAT (Personal Access Token).
PAT Step 1
Activate VineMigrator from the Integrations tab in your Advanced Access view settings. The apps are listed in alphabetical order.
PAT Step 2
Create a dedicated Service Account for VineMigrator from the Service Account tab on the Advanced Access view.
PAT Step 3
Now you can generate the PAT for the Service Account for VineMigrator. Go to Account Manager and click on the Access Tokens tab to generate a new token. You will need to select All Scopes to be able to use all the migration tools VineMigrator offers. Create the token and save the alpha-numeric key the system generated.
The token code can now be saved to VineMigrator tenant admin Settings page. Choose Personal Access Token as your Authentication Method, choose your region (US or CA), and insert the token to save.
Your VineMigrator instance is now connected to your Filevine Org and you're now able to use all the data and doc importers our powerful tool offers!

Setting Up Filevine API Credentials
To retrieve your Filevine API Credentials:
Access the API Key Manager tool in Filevine's Advanced Access section.
If you don't have access, contact Filevine Support via chat in the Support Center to request enablement.
Once enabled, generate your API Key and Key Secret.

Billing Setup
Next, you'll need to set up your billing account. Simple head to Billing & Profile page within the tenant admin, and you'll be directed through a process of setting up your billing account including payment method.
How VineMigrator® Billing Works
VineMigrator bills based on a tiered usage pricing scale. The more rows you process, the more the cost per row drops the allow you to scale. As you use VineMigrator, our system creates and then populates an invoice that will be automatically charged and closed at the end of each 30-day period of usage.
We require a minimum charge of $100 for the first 500 rows processed. After that, our cost is $0.20 per row or document successfully processed by any of our import tools. The cost per row drops with volume.

Because our system automatically calculates and bills your usage, you do not need to do anything other than set up your billing account and provide a payment method.
For detailed invoices, payment history, and receipts, please visit our Billing Portal. Access to the billing portal is tied to the tenant admin email address.
