Virtually allows you to generate meeting links through your existing personal or company Zoom account.

If you integrate with a company Zoom account with multiple users, you'll be able to create events in Virtually and choose any of you users as a host! Because of this, you can host multiple Zoom events simultaneously.

Note: You must be the admin of your Zoom account to complete this integration. If you are on a company account with multiple users and you are not the admin, please see the 'I'm Not My Zoom Admin' section below.

Watch this video or read the instructions below to see how to complete this integration:

Integrate

To do this, login to your account.

Next, click "Settings" and then click the 'Integrations' tab on the top right.

Scroll down, until you see Zoom and click 'Connect' to authenticate your Zoom account. Once this has been completed, you'll be able to create new events and specify "Zoom" as the conferencing type.

Note - a user with admin access on your Zoom account will need to complete the integration. Admins can also pre-approve the integration via this link.

If you have multiple users registered to your account, you'll be able to specify one as the host. We've also enabled advanced Zoom features, such as Alternative Hosts.

Once you've created the event, a zoom link will be generated and made available to all participants.

Usage

Meetings

We will create Zoom meeting links on your behalf. Currently, we only support video calls but plan to support webinars in the future.

Users

In order to make sure the correct individuals hold admin privileges, we access the list of users on your account so you can specify who will be the host of your meeting.

Uninstallation

You can disconnect your Zoom account by going to Settings and clicking the integrations tab. From there, just click 'Disconnect' and you're all set!

In addition, you can remove the Zoom plugin from within your Zoom account by following these steps:

  1. Login to your Zoom account and navigate to the Zoom Marketplace

  2. Click Manage > Installed Apps or search for the Virtually app

  3. Click Virtually app

  4. Click uninstall

I'm Not My Zoom Admin!

If you're not the Admin on your Zoom account, you'll need to invite that Admin to Virtually and have them complete the integration on your behalf. Once the integration is completed, you're welcome to remove the admin from your Virtually account.

Follow these steps:

  1. Add the Zoom Account admin to your Virtually account (see how here)

  2. Have your Zoom Account admin enter Virtually and complete the Zoom integration (see how above)

  3. From there you can remove the Zoom Account admin as a Virtually admin (instructions in the first article)
