Visalaw 2.0 now provides a single, unified chat experience where PrivateGPT, Document Q&A and Legal Research are available in one streamlined interface.
Research—When the Research toggle is enabled, the system automatically searches the immigration law library, checks relevant government websites, and includes case law when applicable.
Citations are only available when Research mode is on. You can turn them off if you prefer a clean, plain-text answer without footnotes.
Link to Project—A single workspace for each case where all chats and documents live together, giving you instant, context-aware access to everything you need.
Web Search (PrivateGPT)—When Research is off and Web Search is on, the system uses internet sources. When Research is on, Web Search is not needed, as government sources are already included.

Attachments—Provide a modern file upload experience, allowing you to add files from anywhere in the platform. By including documents as context for your queries, you can get more accurate and relevant responses, and use them with Skills for more tailored results.

Click the three dots (...) and select Rename or Delete
