Tags are labels added to exhibits uploaded in a case. They help the AI understand which section each document belongs to.
Each case type in Drafts already includes predefined sections, which are created by the Visalaw AI legal team.
These tags help the system know where information should go in the draft, so it can correctly organize and use the content during draft generation.
š”Wondering where the tags come from? Tags are automatically added to each document based on the case type and the sections defined for that case type.
Why Tags Matter
Tags play an important role in improving the quality and reliability of draft outputs. Well-structured tagging improves:
Accuracy of generated content
Relevance of inserted information
Consistency across legal documents
Efficiency in editing and review workflows
Important: By default, all documents are automatically tagged to be available for use across all sections. The AI will determine whether a document is relevant for each section during generation.
If you want more control over which documents are used in specific sections, you can manually update the tags on each document.
You can also use āCreate Section Tags Using AIā for assistance in mapping documents to the most appropriate sections based on their content.
