The My Route Lightning Web Component lets you create a route by selecting map pins as stops. You can personalize the route by setting a start time and specifying how long you plan to spend at each stop, making it easy to plan and optimize your schedule.
You can create a route using either the Radius Tool or the Create a Route Tool, each offering a different approach to building your route based on your needs:
1. Radius Tool:
The Radius Tool allows you to draw a circular area on the map, specifying a range around a central point.
Any map pins located within this radius are automatically added as stops to your route.
You can adjust the radius size by either manually entering a distance or dragging the edge of the radius.
This method is ideal for quickly including multiple stops in a specific geographic area.
2. Create a Route Tool:
The Create a Route Tool gives you precise control by letting you manually select individual map pins.
This method is perfect when you want to customize your route by choosing specific locations, rather than relying on a defined area.
To create a route using the radius tool:
Select a map pin.
Draw a radius that encompasses the pins you want to include.
Click inside the radius and select the “Create Route” icon.
