FaceID Sign-In allows users to sign in using facial recognition for fast and secure access. For privacy and security, this feature is not enabled by default. Each user must be individually enrolled.
Steps to Enable FaceID
1️⃣ Click the People icon in the VMC dashboard
2️⃣ Select the user you want to enable FaceID for
3️⃣ Click the user’s profile picture icon
4️⃣ From the dropdown, select Enable FaceID
To disable FaceID for a user, repeat the same steps and select Disable FaceID
Once enabled, it may take a moment to register the user’s profile photo with the FaceID system.
What If FaceID Doesn’t Recognize the User?
Sometimes FaceID might not recognize a user. Common reasons include:
No photo is saved to the user’s profile
Poor lighting or low camera quality
User’s face is not clearly visible or positioned incorrectly
The user has significantly changed their appearance
Network connection error
