How do I use the coverage search tool?
The Vitable Health Coverage Search tool is a handy place to find more information about the services that are covered by your Vitable plan. Click the following link to access the coverage search tool: Vitable Coverage Search Tool. When accessing the tool, it is important to know what Vitable plan or plans you have so you can choose the correct option from the landing page.
Not sure which plan you are on?
No problem! Just open your Vitable app, click the person-shaped icon in the bottom right corner to go to My Profile, and your plan name will be listed under Benefits Overview. (e.g. Vitable Primary Care - Core, Vitable Primary Care - Enhanced, etc.)
Note: If you have two Vitable plans (e.g. Vitable Primary Care - Enhanced with MEC Plus) your coverage with be displayed in the coverage search tool under two separate sections; one for your VPC plan, and the other for your MEC plan.
From the landing page of the coverage search tool, select your Vitable Health plan to access additional information about the services included. In this example, we will choose the VPC - Enhanced plan.
From here, choose the corresponding tab associated with the information you are interested in learning more about.
Covered Regions: View states in which Vitable Health has licensed practitioners ready to serve our members. Enter your zipcode and click “Search” to view coverage in your area.
Primary Care: View the primary care services covered by your plan, including some of the most common conditions we treat like high blood pressure, high cholesterol, GERD, generalized anxiety, depression, and more.
Episodic Care: View some of the acute illnesses Vitable can treat, like allergies, cold/flu, nausea and vomiting, bronchitis, sexual health concerns, acne, urinary tract infections, and more.
Covered Medications: This tab contains our searchable formulary and a list of in-network pharmacies. Remember, prescriptions written by Vitable Health, included on the formulary, and filled at an in-network pharmacy are completely free! Covered Labs: Your Vitable Health plan covers more than 40 different blood and urine tests in full. Lab orders from our covered lab list entered by a Vitable provider and fulfilled at the corresponding lab are completely free. Discounted rates are available for any necessary labs needed that are not covered.
If you are enroll in a MEC plan in addition to your Vitable Primary Care coverage, select the option that corresponds with your plan from the landing page of the coverage search tool.
Navigate to the different tabs listed here to learn more about the additional coverage included with your MEC plan. MEC plans offer expanded coverage for many preventative services like screening mammograms and colonoscopies, and for many additional immunizations. MEC Plus plans also include coverage for additional services like specialist visits, urgent care, x-rays, and access to medical bill assistance through Upland Advocacy Group.
