Here’s how your Sibionics GS3 CGM data moves from the sensor to the Vively app.
1️⃣ How your GS3 data reaches Vively
Step 1: Sensor collects glucose data
Your GS3 sensor continuously measures glucose levels from interstitial fluid.
Step 2: Data is sent to your phone via Bluetooth
The sensor transmits glucose readings directly to your smartphone using Bluetooth.
Step 3: Data appears in the Sibionics app
Your readings are displayed in the Sibionics app once the sensor is active and connected.
Step 4: Data syncs to Vively
Vively securely receives your glucose data from your connected GS3 setup and displays it in the Vively app so you can view trends and insights in one place.
2️⃣ How often does GS3 data update?
GS3 sends glucose readings automatically every five minutes
Data typically appears in Vively shortly after it’s received on your phone
Small delays can occur if Bluetooth disconnects or your phone goes out of range
3️⃣ Why might there be a delay?
Common reasons include:
Bluetooth temporarily turned off
Phone out of range of the sensor
App restrictions or battery-saving settings limiting background activity
Temporary connection drops
Once Bluetooth reconnects, data will resume automatically.
4️⃣ Is my data secure?
Yes.
Your glucose data is transmitted securely
Vively does not access or store any third-party CGM login credentials
Data is used only to provide insights and support within the Vively app
5️⃣ Troubleshooting GS3 data sync issues
If your GS3 data isn’t updating in Vively:
Ensure Bluetooth is enabled
Keep your phone within 10 metres of the sensor
Make sure the Sibionics app and Vively app can run in the background
Disable aggressive battery-saving or app-sleep settings
Pull down on the Track page in Vively to refresh
If needed, wait a few minutes and check again.
6️⃣ Still having issues?
