If you stop using a Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM) sensor, your existing Vively data remains available, and you can continue to use the app’s features to track other aspects of your health.

1️⃣ Your Past CGM Data is Saved

  • All past glucose readings collected from your CGM will remain accessible in the Vively app.

  • You can still view your glucose history, trends, and past insights even after your sensor expires.

CGM data will not update unless you apply and scan a new sensor.

2️⃣ Continue Tracking Your Health Without a CGM

Even without an active CGM, Vively still provides valuable insights by syncing with:

  • Apple Health (iOS) & Google Fit (Android)

  • Wearables (e.g., Apple Watch, Oura Ring, Fitbit, Garmin)

You can still track and gain insights from:

  • Wellness Score – Based on your activity, sleep, and habits

  • Meal Logging & Food Insights

  • Exercise & Activity Tracking

  • Sleep Monitoring

  • Fasting Window Tracking

  • Cycle Tracking

  • Liaising with your dietitian (if you are subscribed to that service)

3️⃣ Restarting CGM Tracking in Vively

If you decide to use a CGM again, you can:

  • Purchase a new CGM sensor anytime in the app

  • Resume glucose tracking and receive updated insights

Final Thoughts

Your Vively membership and health tracking features are not dependent on a CGM. While using a sensor provides real-time glucose data, Vively still offers valuable metabolic health insights even when you’re not wearing one.
