Your CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitor) sensor collects glucose data, which is then securely transferred to the Vively app through a third-party service called Terra. This ensures your glucose readings are continuously updated and accessible within Vively.

1️⃣ How Does My Data Sync to Vively?

  • Step 1: When you join Vively, you'll be asked to log in using your FreeStyle Libre credentials.

  • Step 2: Your credentials are securely processed by Terra – Vively does not have access to your login details.

  • Step 3: Once your account is linked, Terra retrieves your glucose data from FreeStyle Libre and updates your readings in Vively every 5 minutes

2️⃣ Why Might There Be a Delay?

Since Vively pulls data from the FreeStyle Libre app, there is a 15–30 minute delay between data in the FreeStyle Libre app and when the data appears in Vively.

3️⃣ Is My Data Secure?

  • Your FreeStyle Libre login credentials are never stored by Vively.

  • They are securely processed by Terra, which encrypts and protects your data.

  • Your glucose readings are safely transmitted and only used to provide insights within the Vively app.

4️⃣ Troubleshooting Data Sync Issues

If your glucose data is not updating in Vively:

  • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled and that your phone is within range.

  • For Freestyle Libre 2 users: You only need to scan once to activate the sensor. After activation, glucose readings are sent automatically via Bluetooth.

  • If there is a break in data, manually scan the sensor again to re-establish a connection.

  • Wait 15–30 minutes for data to transfer to Vively.

  • Wait a few minutes after scanning before checking Vively.

  • Refresh the Vively app (by pulling down on the Track page) if data isn’t updating.

If the issue persists, please contact Vively Support at contact@vively.com.au, and we’ll be happy to assist!
