Who can sync MyFitnessPal (MFP) with Vively?

Users can connect their MyFitnessPal account to Vively, enabling automatic syncing of their nutritional data into Vively. Vively will automatically create food logs from this data.

MyFitnessPal can only be synced with Apple (iOS) users at this time. We are working on making it accessible for Android users.

What are the limitations of the data that Vively can access?

Once your MyFitnessPal account is linked to Vively, your meals' nutritional data will be automatically synced. Please note that this synchronisation includes only the nutritional information of your meals (i.e., calories, protein, carbs, fats, etc.). Your MyFitnessPal food log will be automatically given the title of Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner/Snack depending on the time of day it is logged.

If you wish to add specific ingredients, adjust portion sizes, or give your meals a custom title or photo, you will have to edit the food log in the Vively app.

We acknowledge that this solution might not be the most ideal given these limitations, however this is the only approach that we are able to provide at this time.

How to connect MFP to Vively (iPhone)

Vively can access MFP via Apple Health. This means we need to ensure all permissions are enabled for MFP to share data, and then for Vively to access Apple Health/Google Fit.

Go to the menu on the app, and click on 'connected accounts'.

For those who have their MyFitnessPal linked to their Apple Health, the next step is to just connect Apple Health to Vively.

Once this is complete, your nutritional information will sync directly into your Vively app.
