Vivvix partners with Miller Kaplan – an accounting firm with a media specialism – to provide the most comprehensive Network Radio ad expenditures. The data provided by Miller Kaplan is a provider-blind, aggregated view of radio ad expenditures across more than a dozen participating networks that preserves each provider’s confidentiality.

Miller Kaplan sourced data represents ad time bought directly from the owner of the Network Radio programming and does not represent locally sold activity or any creative campaign detail. We report Network Radio as Total US and not by the market, station, or programming.

Vivvix maps each brand/product record to a corresponding entry in our master Vivvix Central database and then applies the provided expenditures. Non-itemized category activity represents exclusive buys where advertiser and brand information are not disclosed to us.

Ad expenditures prior to January 2019 were individually sourced from 4 participating Network Radio entities and reported as a total aggregate of ad expenditures by brand/product. Radio formats used were RADAR, Sports, Short Form, and Long Form programming.

Network promotions and public service announcements are excluded from all reported time periods.
