In large organisations projects often stagnate and fail due to projects having vague requirements and it being unclear what the outcome of the project is supposed to be. Without clearly defined outcomes, project teams become misaligned and struggle to identify and deliver the goals of the project.
When project teams do manage to articulate the critical outcomes for success, members in the project team need to be accountable for them to ensure the outcomes are reached.

Vizibl allows project teams to clearly define critical outcomes to ensure project success, in turn ensuring clarity on what team members are accountable for. Project owners can set accountability as a foundational principle of the project, which drives clarity around deliverables. Having clear outcomes defined allows businesses to quickly identify projects that are going off track, making it possible to proactively course correct and ensure the best possible result.

Create a new Outcome
To create a new Outcome simply navigate to the Outcomes tab of the project you need to define Outcomes for and click on the Add Outcome button. You must be a member of the project team or a company admin to create a new Outcome. An Outcome Name and due Date are the minimum required fields to create a new Outcome, but it is beneficial to add a clear Description and assign an Accountable Owner as soon as an Outcome is created. The due date of an Outcome will default to the due date of the project unless otherwise specified. Outcomes are a core part of a project and as such only members from the project team can be selected as Accountable Owners.
Committing to an Outcome
All new Outcomes are put into a pending state when they are created. Commitment and Accountability go hand in hand and it's important that all accountable owners show a clear commitment to their Outcomes. For this reason only the Accountable owner can commit to an Outcome, no one else can commit them to an outcome on their behalf. If you have pending Outcomes assigned to you in a project these are always displayed at the top of the Outcomes list. Simply click on the Accept button to commit yourself to the outcome. When an owner has committed to and taken ownership of an Outcome they're the only ones who can mark it as completed:
Editing an Outcome:
To edit the details of an Outcome simply open the More Options menu for an outcome and choose the Edit option. Other team members can also edit the details of an Outcome but the Accountable Owner will be notified of any changes to their outcome and all Outcome activity will be logged in the project activity log:
