Split for Long Texts automatically splits imported text into multiple items when it exceeds a certain number of characters. Using a smaller value can make importing and playback more stable (but it creates more items).
Open the setting
Open Settings (gear icon) and tap Import Settings. Then tap Split for Long Texts.
Choose the character count
You can set a value from 500 to 20,000 characters. The default is 10,000.
If importing a long text feels heavy, try a smaller value like 2,000 to 5,000 (it will increase the number of items in the Reading List).
How it is imported
Texts above the limit are split and added with numbers like [1], [2], and so on.
Notes
Because splitting is based on character count, it can cut in the middle of a sentence. If you want fewer splits, use a larger value (for example, 20,000).
