Fix the speech language or let the app automatically detect and switch languages based on the text content.

To switch languages sentence by sentence within mixed-language text, enable In-text Language Switch.

1. Open the reading list.

2. Tap the Voice button (waveform icon) at the bottom left to open Voice Settings.

1. In Voice Settings, tap Voice Language.

2. The language picker will appear. Select Auto Detect to let the app switch automatically, or choose a specific language (e.g., English).

3. Tap Done at the top right to close. The selected language appears in blue next to Speech Language in Voice Settings.
