Credit Usage Guide
AI Voice with ChatGPT voices: about 24 credits/min (based on audio duration)
AI Voice with Grok voices: about 10–24 credits/min (based on character count)
AI Translation: Per 1,000 characters: Standard 5 · High quality 25 credits
What Does Not Use Credits
Repeat playback of loaded AI Voice audio, because the cached audio is reused
Create Audio File, when it reuses already loaded AI Voice audio
Voice sample previews
AI Translation that is canceled or fails before completion
When Credits Are Used Again
Reloading AI Voice after editing the text, because changed parts are regenerated
Regenerating AI Voice audio, for example after registering a pronunciation
Running AI Translation again after changing the text, target language, or quality
Checking Your Remaining Credits
Open Voicepaper AI from AI Translation Settings, Voicepaper Settings, or Voice Settings to check your current credit usage.
Monthly Renewal
Credits reset every month with your plan’s new allowance.
Unused credits do not carry over to the next month.
