If you are a registered volunteer for one of the charities using Volunteero, read on...
Firstly, check your emails for a welcome email received from support@volunteero.org. It is worth checking your junk folder as some email security settings may cause the email to be directed there.
The welcome email gives all the information you need to gain access to your app account including download links and sign-in details.
You can download the Volunteero app on ios and android app stores or access the desktop version on your web browser.
"But I cannot find the email anywhere"
Firstly, double-check with your charity that they have created you an app account on their side AND that the email they are using is correct. If this is the case then follow the below steps:
Download the app using the links below. Then on the first page of the app use the forgot password option. Please note that the link that will be sent expires after 1 hour. Keep an eye on your junk mail. Any issues reach out to support@volunteero.org.

"My password isn't working"
If you are facing this issue, firstly we would recommend copy and pasting the password to avoid any chance of mistyping. If you have done so and are still facing the same issue, follow the steps listed above.
If you have a query relating to accessing or using the app, please email our support team at support@volunteero.org and one of our friendly team will be happy to help. If the query relates to the volunteering aspect then we recommend you contact the charity you volunteer for.
Two Factor Authentication
What is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?
Two-Factor Authentication is an electronic authentication method in which the user will have to give multiple pieces of evidence before they can log into their account. It is an extra layer of security during sign-in that requires users to provide their passwords as usual and an additional security code. This makes it significantly harder for unauthorised individuals to gain access to an account.
Some organisations may make 2FA mandatory for their volunteers, otherwise this an optional added level of security you can enable on your account.
When you go to sign into Volunteero and after you have entered your email &password combination you will be prompted with 2FA set-up.
Here you can choose to enable 2FA on your account via either:
Authenticator app
Commonly used authenticator apps are Microsoft Authenticator and Google Authenticator
Text message
You can use your phone number as a method as well. Set up your phone number and when logging in a text message will be sent to your phone. Please fill in the code and log in.
If 2FA hasn't been made mandatory by your organisation ,then you'll be able to skip 2FA set-up if you do not wish to enable this.
If you require any further assistance or face any difficulties with 2FA, please email support@volunteero.org and our team will be happy to assist.
We will be happy to help!
