What even are tags anyway?

Well they are an easy way to tag volunteer or client profiles with certain data or attributes which will help you find relevant clients and volunteers with ease.

So they are groups?

No 😊 Tags do not affect what missions the volunteers can see in the app. They are simply an internal tag. Volunteers also don't know what their profile is tagged with.

Before you can add tags to a volunteer or client profile, you must first create that tag to make it available.

To do so, go to the volunteer or client section, whichever you would like to create a tag for.

In the top right, you will see a button called tags, press it.

Next, enter your tag into the "Enter name for tag" field and hit create.

Once created this will now be available to add to a volunteer or client profile.

Open the volunteer or client profile you wish to add a tag to.

Open the personal details section.

You will see a field called tags, just open the drop-down list and add all tags you wish to.

To delete a tag follow the same process but press the small x on the tag you wish to remove from that profile.

Make sure to apply changes or this change won't take effect.
