How to add or remove a volunteer from a chat

In this article we cover the addition and removal of volunteers from chats

The addition or removal of volunteers from chats can be managed either by adding or removing whole groups of volunteers or individually.

Please note that the individual settings will override the group settings. So if a volunteer is part of a group that is in a chat BUT you have removed them specifically, that will take precedence.

Firstly, open the Volunteero chat window. The Volunteero chat window is opened by pressing the icon on the top right of the management dashboard (as shown below)

Open the chat you wish to add or remove a volunteer from.

Press the "Manage chat members" button.

To remove volunteers, use the checkboxes on the left to select those you wish to remove, then press the red "Remove" button on the bottom left of the pop-out window.

To add volunteers, press the "Invite" button where you can search and find the volunteers to be added. Use the checkboxes to select all volunteers to be added. Then finally press "invite"
