Edit an Invoice or Credit Note

1. To edit a transaction, go to Invoices, then click on the transaction you wish to edit in the list.

2. Click Edit on the top right-hand corner or use the Quick Edit buttons in the Invoice details. If you want to edit your attachment(s), click Edit/Add Invoice Files – see screenshot below.

Please Note: You won’t see any Edit button if the transaction has been reconciled


Edit a paid invoice that has been reconciled

To edit a paid invoice where the payment has been reconciled, simply unallocated the payment, make the edit and re-allocate the payment.

1. On the Invoices page, click on the invoice you wish to edit.

2. In the Invoice details, click on the amber cross at the bottom right of the screen to unallocate the payment.

3. The Edit button should now show on the top right-hand corner.

Once you have edited our invoice, click Save Edits.

4. You can now re-allocate the payment to the invoice. Simply click on Add Payment.

From the account drop-down list, select your Supplier Prepayment and click Add Payment.


Delete an Invoice or Credit Note

1. To delete an invoice or a credit note, go to Invoices and click on the transaction you wish to delete from the list.

2. In the transaction, click Edit, then Delete. The transaction will be permanently deleted.

Please Note: You won’t see any Edit button if the transaction has been reconciled! See how to edit a reconciled transaction


Copy to New Invoice or Credit Note

You can copy the details of an existing transaction to create a new invoice or credit note.

1. Go to Invoices. In the invoice list, click on the invoice or credit note you wish to copy the details from.

2. In the transaction, click on ‘Copy to (New) Credit Note’ to create a new credit note, or ‘Copy to (New) Invoice’ to create a new invoice.

3. A new screen will appear for you to save the new invoice/credit note details.

•Enter the new invoice/credit note number and date.

•Edit anything other information if required.

•Attach the new document.

Once ready, click Save Credit Note/Invoice.
