A quick note: Your program may include no assessment, only the Written Assessment, or both the Speaking and Written Assessments. If you have any questions about the specific options available through your organization, we advise contacting your organization administrator for more details.

After activating your account, If the assessment is available to you now, you have likely finished the Needs Analysis (our initial questionnaire to get to know you). You will then see the Voxy Proficiency Assessment (VPA) preview screen for your study language, which will walk you through the steps of the assessment.

To begin your program, it’s essential to take the proficiency level test. This test is divided into two parts:

Written Assessment

This covers Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading, and Listening. It takes around 45 minutes, and it is important that you complete it at one time. To start your test, simply click on the"Written Assessment" option, as you can see on this image:

Then, you will be redirected to your test page, where you just need to click on "Start Test":

Speaking Assessment (If applicable)

The next step is to complete a Speaking Assessment with one of our teachers. In this 30 minute session, your teacher will assess your speaking ability and confirm your scores for reading, listening, and grammar.

To reserve your speaking assessment, simply click on the "Schedule your Speaking Assessment" option, that will redirect you to the teachers list:

The first step is to set up your TimeZone! Please choose the option "Back to Profile":

You will now be redirected to your personal profile page, where you will be able to set up your timezone by clicking on the "Edit your profile" icon, as you can see on the following image:

Now, just simply choose a teacher and the time of your preference for the test, but please remember that you can only book 4 hours in advance:

On the next screen, you will only have one option available, “Speaking Assessment”, please select it and click "Confirm and Continue":

Now you are all set! Before the test, you are free to explore the platform and enroll yourself in our Academy Units.

Then, once it's time for the test, login into your platform and click on "Take my Speaking Test" as you see on the image:

You will be redirected to this screen, where you just need to click on the button "Join my class":

And that's it! Good luck!

Once the teacher submits the final level assessment, you will receive an email confirmation with your test results.
